My fundraising message: I am now 10 years old and I've been doing gymnastics since I was 2, working hours in the gym each week. Sometimes I miss time with school friends or other fun events - yet my gym friends have become some of my best friends. Recently, we had a falling out with the gym I've been at for over 7 years and we had to switch gyms, driving a much longer distance each way. The worst part was losing my gym family, I had to make all new friends in a new gym and I almost gave up, I felt abandoned in a sport I truly love. Thankfully my new gym Head Over Heels always attends this meet and I was able to learn about MyKayla's story. I may be on a new path now, with a new gym but I have learned the to stick with what I love even if the journey is unknown.
